Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys building trusted relationships, coaching leaders and supporting teams across fast-paced operational environments? Signature Hospitality Group is seeking an engaging and commercially minded HR Business Partner to join our People team on a parental leave contract. Based in our Melbourne Support Office, Southbank, you will partner with leaders and teams across our Western Australian and South Australian operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys balancing strategic people priorities with the practical, day-to-day needs of a diverse, multi-site hospitality business. Travel may be required, however most your day-to-day success will be based on relationship building through our Melbourne based teams and remote connection opportunities.
About the role As the HR Business Partner supporting our West Coast portfolio, you will build strong relationships with operational leaders and venue management teams across WA and SA.
You will provide practical, responsive and commercially sound advice across the full employee lifecycle, including:

About you You are an approachable, confident and solutions-focused HR professional who can build credibility quickly and provide clear, practical advice.
You will ideally bring:
• Previous experience as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Adviser or experienced HR generalist • Strong employee relations, performance management and case management experience • Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and modern Awards • Experience supporting a multi-site, hospitality, retail or operational workforce • Strong coaching, communication and stakeholder management skills • The ability to balance employee experience with commercial and operational priorities • Confidence working across geographically dispersed teams
Hospitality experience will be highly regarded, but most importantly, you will understand how to support operational leaders with advice that is practical, timely and easy to apply.
