What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading a high‑performing national operations function, including Business Development Managers and Training Representatives, to build capability, consistency, and a strong performance culture across all venues.
• Coaching Franchise Partners and venue leaders through business reviews, strategy planning, and operational standards to ensure every venue runs profitably and effectively.
• Driving national guest experience outcomes by elevating product quality, service execution, and brand standards to deliver a market‑leading sports bar experience.
• Taking ownership of sales growth, operational KPIs, COGS and labour performance, using data and insights to guide decisions and continuous improvement.
• Ensuring compliance across liquor licensing, health and safety, gaming, wagering, and national audit requirements to uphold our licence to operate and protect the brand.
• Leading the operational delivery of new venue openings, ensuring every launch is smooth, aligned, and set up for immediate success.

What You’ll Bring

• 10+ years’ experience in multi‑site hospitality or QSR leadership, with a strong track record driving operational KPIs.
• Experience working within a franchise network, and the ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships with Franchise Partners and venue leaders.
• Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of COGS, labour optimisation, and financial performance drivers.
• High‑level understanding of compliance across liquor, health, gaming, and safety requirements.
• A people‑first leadership style that blends coaching, accountability, clear communication, and the ability to inspire high performance.
• A decisive, data‑led mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive meaningful improvements across the network.

What You'll Be Doing

• Playing a lead role in the East Coast expansion of Varsity, working closely with the CEO and leadership team to translate the brand's West Australian success into new markets, ensuring the culture, energy and standards that make Varsity special are embedded from day one.

What You'll Bring

We are looking for a hard-working and vibrant Assistant Venue Manager to join our team at TGI Friday's Doncaster restaurant. 

We need a passionate and experienced Assistant Venue Manager responsible for a restaurant's Front of House operations in our fast-paced brand. 

• Being a key part of TGI Friday's management team, you will be focused on developing your team and delivering quality service to Friday's standards. 
• We are seeking a motivated and hands-on leader who has a passion for great-quality food and cocktails, 
• Importantly you will know how to get the best out of your team. It would be best if you had prior experience managing people in addition to growing sales, managing costs, and delivering outstanding service in a high volume fast-paced environment. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Management of up to 30 staff, including training, rostering and on-shift management.

• Overall management of the FOH operational facets of the business.
• Adherence to and auditing of OH&S and Food Hygiene procedures.
• Identifying opportunities to build sales and revenue whilst controlling costs.
• Ensuring superior service and quality to ensure delivery of outstanding guest experiences.

About you!

• Demonstrated hospitality experience within a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Qualifications in Hospitality are preferred; however, not essential.
• Proven management experience with outstanding leadership capability and customer service focus.

You will deliver food and service to TGI Friday's standards, adhere to Australian legal requirements, and make a valued contribution to overall business performance.

Your key responsibilities will include

• Management of up to 30 staff, including training, rostering, and on-shift management.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year

What are we looking for

A hard-working and vibrant Head Chefs, Sous Chefs and Chef de Parties to join our kitchen team across our Queensland (Brisbane and Sunshine Coast) venues!

We are seeking individuals who have a passion for producing great quality food and who will be able to provide exceptional guest experiences by ensuring solid kitchen operations. You will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of our amazing food within a high-volume restaurant and pub environment. We are searching for a team player who has thorough cleanliness and kitchen hygiene. You will deliver food and service to TGI Friday's standards, adhere to Australian legal requirements, and make a valued contribution to overall business performance.

Salary: $70,000 to $90,000 per year

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING ON A DAILY BASIS?

• Ensuring all meals are cooked TGI Friday's Way.
• Following our national recipes & plating guides
• Ensuring all meals are served as quick as possible and are of the highest quality every time.
• Food safety and hygiene are extremely important to us, our kitchen is always sparkling clean and well organised.
• Adhering to all food preparation and cleanliness guidelines is a must.
• Ensuring staff are allocated sections and secondary duties throughout their shifts, as well as managing general kitchen operations in conjunction with the Sous and Head Chef.
• Contributing to the Back of House Management team to improve current menu items and to develop specials and LTO’s (limited time offers) ideas.
• Managing stock ordering, delivery receipts, temperature log reporting.

Requirements:

• Diploma qualification in a relevant field and/or 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
• Working rights required for this role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year

Supplementary Pay: Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a diverse team of servers, bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure excellent service and teamwork.
• Customer Service: Ensure that guests have a memorable dining experience by upholding TGI Fridays' high standards of customer service. Address customer concerns and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.

Who We're Looking For

• 3-5yrs Hospitality Management experience
• Exposure to both Bar and Restaurant environments
• Experience in controlling the financial aspects of a business

The Marketing Coordinator supports the development and execution of agreed marketing initiatives for The Sporting Globe (TSG) in accordance with the broader marketing strategy. The role plays a key part in helping the marketing function build brand equity, drive sales, and increase profit across the TSG network.

The role connects planning to execution: bringing campaigns and activations to life across venues, coordinating the day-to-day operational rhythm of the marketing team, and providing reliable support to the TSG brand team and wider business.

What You’ll Be Doing

Campaign Delivery & Execution

• Support the development and execution of consumer promotions, marketing campaigns, and events in line with the TSG marketing plan
• Contribute to briefs for creative, media, PR, and agency partners
• Help bring venue activations, events, and on-the-ground campaign moments to life
• Support new venue openings, refurbishments, and menu launches end to end — including listing setup, launch comms, and post-launch reporting
• Ensure consistent guest experience execution across the venue network against brand standards

Marketing Operations & Coordination

• Maintain the TSG POS schedule and manage repeat ordering for venue collateral
• Develop internal communications to keep the broader team across campaigns and launches
• Support venue managers, franchise partners, and BDMs with day-to-day marketing requests
• Manage day-to-day updates across TSG's digital properties — website CMS, app, digital signage, Footy Tipping, and other consumer platforms
• Coordinate promotional activity across public holidays and major calendar events, including surcharge management

Sports, Streaming & Live Event Coordination

• Build and maintain the national live sport broadcast calendar across UFC, AFL/NRL, EPL, NFL, and other priority codes
• Prioritise matches and events for national marketing focus, categorise major vs secondary events, and manage venue opt-ins
• Own end-to-end sport subscription and PPV management — including venue subscriptions, ops coordination, and feed troubleshooting
• Update website and app landing pages for major matches, keeping game times and timezone settings accurate
• Track attendance, sales uplift, and bookings per event, share learnings, and refine future strategies

Budget, Admin & Insights

• Support marketing budget reconciliation through invoice tracking, coding, and processing
• Monitor campaign and menu launch effectiveness against agreed KPIs and contribute post-campaign recommendations
• Keep accurate records for marketing activity, supplier engagements, and approvals
• Monitor competitor activity and industry trends, sharing insights to keep TSG ahead of the game

What You’ll Bring

• 2 to 3 years marketing experience, ideally within hospitality, FMCG, or a consumer-facing brand
• Tertiary qualification in marketing or a related field
• Demonstrated experience supporting marketing campaigns end to end, with a track record of strong attention to detail and execution
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across head office, venues, and partners
• Be highly organised and comfortable managing multiple deadlines and taking initiative in a fast-paced environment. A genuine interest in sport, hospitality, and consumer brands is highly regarded.

• Management of up to 30 staff, including training, rostering, and on-shift management.

What Will You Do?

• Be hands-on behind the bar, mixing cocktails, pouring pints, serving food and taking customer orders.
• Coach your team in excellent customer service and hospitality standards.
• Support a fun-first culture. 
• Curate a perfect venue atmosphere, keeping maintenance, cleanliness and venue vibe at the forefront of your mind. 
• Support the venue management team with opens and closes. 
• Take charge of shifts, overseeing staff breaks and task assignment.
• Support the running of the amusement department, keeping the area and redemption store clean, tidy and reporting maintenance issues.

As Varsity continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Learning & Development Manager to help build the next generation of leaders, elevate operational capability and bring our people strategy to life.

Please note: The successful candidate will be required to spend approximately 6–8 weeks training in WA to immerse themselves in the Varsity brand, culture and operations prior to commencing the role in Victoria.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to build and shape Training & Development within a fast-growing hospitality and entertainment business.

Working closely with Operations and People & Culture, you’ll lead the delivery of onboarding programs, leadership development initiatives, venue training systems and operational capability programs across the business.

You’ll play a key role in creating engaging learning experiences that support performance, consistency and culture while partnering with venue leaders to develop future talent pipelines.

This role requires someone equally comfortable building strategy and rolling up their sleeves in venue alongside operational teams.

What Will You Do?

• Lead and evolve Varsity’s Learning & Development function across multiple venues
• Design and deliver onboarding programs for team members and leaders
• Develop engaging training content and operational learning resources
• Facilitate leadership development and Train the Trainer programs
• Support venue openings through structured training and operational readiness
• Coach and develop venue leaders to build capability and performance
• Drive training compliance and consistency across all venues
• Partner with Operations leaders to identify development opportunities and succession pathways
• Manage and improve learning systems, reporting and training processes
• Support people development initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement and retention
• Deliver workshops, leadership sessions and operational training programs
• Travel between venues to support teams and embed learning outcomes

As Varsity continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Training & Development Manager to help build the next generation of leaders, elevate operational capability and bring our people strategy to life.

Please note: This role will initially be based in WA. The successful candidate will be required to relocate permanently to Melbourne in August 2026.

About the Role

This is not your typical training role.

We’re looking for someone who can combine operational hospitality experience with strategic people development to help build capability across the Varsity business.

You’ll play a key role in onboarding, leadership development, venue openings, operational training systems and creating engaging learning experiences that bring the Varsity brand to life.

Working closely with Operations and People & Culture, you’ll help drive consistency, culture, performance and leadership growth across multiple venues.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. One day you could be building leadership programs and reviewing training systems, the next you could be in venue coaching teams, supporting a new opening or filming content.
