As the Sales and Events Executive at Signature Hospitality Group, you will drive sales through the execution of exceptional events and group reservations across the brands. You will play a pivotal role in achieving revenue growth targets while delivering memorable experiences for our clients. Through proactive sales initiatives, impeccable customer service and strategic event planning, you will contribute to the continued success and expansion of the business.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Promptly manage and respond to all incoming leads across various channels with the aim to convert enquiries into sales
Drive outbound sales efforts to proactively secure new business for venues
Build and maintain a sales pipeline through database building and lead generation
Create and customise event packages in line with market trends and customer preferences
Recommend tailored packages and prepare quotes to meet the specific needs of clients
Handover functions to venue teams seamlessly, ensuring exceptional service delivery
Follow up with clients post-event for feedback and remarketing
Generate reports to track sales performance and contribute to overall sales and reservations strategy
Cultivate and nurture relationships with clients and industry contacts to drive repeat business
Attend meetings and liaise with the operations team and individual venues
Support the Group Sales & Events Manager with administrative tasks
Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and promotions to drive sales and event attendance
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets through developing strategies to increase functions and reservations
Be on top of industry trends and conduct regular competitor analysis to stay ahead in the market
Continuously assess and improve the efficiency of sales processes and procedures
Ensure online listings, website, function packs etc are all kept up to date
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar role, demonstrating a track record of successful sales, particularly outbound
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
A passion for sales and building and maintaining relationships

OTHER INFORMATION
Although the position is mainly worked between Monday to Friday, evening and weekend work may be required.
Travel to interstate and remote/regional areas may be required.
The hours shown may exceed the hours actually required if the Job has flexible hours or will be shared with other employees.
