As our in-venue Events Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business growth and ensuring the success of our functions and events.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing strategic promotional and marketing concepts
  • Meeting financial targets for functions and events
  • Building strong relationships with corporate clients, community groups, and local sporting clubs
  • Coordinating networking events to showcase our top-notch function spaces
  • Collaborating with local businesses and event companies to enhance community engagement
  • Managing bookings and maintaining a strong presence on relevant platforms
  • Presenting function spaces to prospective clients with flair and professionalism
  • Planning and executing major internal and external events
  • Budgeting and reporting to ensure financial success

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Functions and Events in a hospitality environment
  • Events qualification desirable but not necessary
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Passion for the industry and a strong sales culture
  • Experience in financial aspects of events
  • RSA certificate
