We’re now looking for a Sales & Events Manager to join us on a 9 month maternity leave cover contract to drive event sales performance and elevate our guest experience across all brands. How Will You Play to Win?You’ll lead our national Sales & Events function — owning strategy, guiding venue teams, and ensuring every enquiry is met with fast, professional, best‑in‑class conversion. Your work will directly impact revenue growth, guest experience and brand reputation. What You’ll Be Doing- Drive Sales & Events strategy across all brands
- Lead and coach a team of 3 sales & events executives
- Coach venue function teams through regular performance reviews
- Oversee enquiry management, reservations and table/event optimisation
- Use data to identify trends, gaps and conversion opportunities
- Partner with Marketing to align campaigns and sales activity
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Report on KPIs and department performance regularly
- Continuously improve processes, tools and outcomes
What You’ll Bring- Experience in a senior sales or events leadership role
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking
- Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to lead, coach and motivate teams
- Comfortable working at pace, prioritising and meeting deadlines
- Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Ability to travel both intra/interstate to visit our network of venues
