As we continue to go far and go together, we’re seeking a Social Content Creator to bring our brand stories to life, fuel engagement, and show up with energy across every channel.

How Will You Play to Win?

We’re looking for a Social Content Creator who lives and breathes digital content — someone who captures the moment, understands platform behaviour, and knows how to craft content that stops thumbs and sparks conversation.

In this role, you’ll create, film, edit, and publish social‑first content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and beyond. You’ll work across multiple brands, attend key events and venue activations, and help us tell stories that feel real, relevant, and uniquely SHG.

You’ll be guided by our Creative Lead and supported by our wider marketing team — collaborating closely while owning your craft and chasing ideas that excite you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Plan, capture, and edit short‑form videos and still content for SHG’s brand channels
  • Build and manage a dynamic social content calendar aligned to marketing plans
  • Create Reels, Stories, TikToks, GIFs, and social‑first edits that feel native to each platform
  • Attend venue activations, brand shoots, and major sporting moments to capture content in real time
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and creatives to align content with campaigns and promotions
  • Bring each brand’s personality to life through tone, visuals, and platform‑specific creativity
  • Stay across social trends, formats, and algorithm updates to keep our content culturally relevant
  • Assist with social media competitions, community engagement, and influencer content capture
  • Ensure consistent brand representation across every piece of content you create

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience creating content for social platforms — especially TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Strong filming and editing skills with confidence producing short‑form video
  • A strong understanding of social media behaviours, trends, and best‑practice content creation
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Great planning, organising, and time‑management skills
  • A genuine passion for digital storytelling — and ideally, a love of sport
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends to help captuire content from some of our killer events!
  • Ability to travel both intra/interstate to visit our network of venues
