The Sporting Globe is seeking a hard-working and vibrant senior Chef to provide support to the kitchen team at Sporting Globe. We are seeking an individual who has a passion for leadership, consistency, teamwork and producing great quality food! You will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of our amazing food within a high-volume restaurant and pub environment. At Sporting Globe, we strive to deliver all meals to the highest standards, adhering to best practice systems. You will be committed to cleanliness, food safety and kitchen hygiene. This role works directly under our experienced Head Chef to train, coach and develop your fellow team members, while performing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. To be successful you will have: - Demonstrated experience as a Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or pub environment.
- Energetic attitude, a team player approach and strong work ethic
- Experience and understanding of financial controls of a hospitality business
- The ability to lead, train and develop a team.
- Passion for providing exceptional quality food to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Commitment to upholding our brand standards, OH&S and food hygiene procedures.
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery is required.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
