As the GM, you're the vibe-setter, culture driver, and operational weapon behind this game-changing concept. You’ll lead a high-performing team across front of house, bar and kitchen to deliver an unforgettable guest experience—every shift, every night. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership & Execution - Drive operational excellence across all departments—FOH, BOH and Bar
- Oversee the seamless integration of tech, digital booking systems, and robotic assistants for a frictionless service model.
- Ensure high-functioning execution of daily service, kitchen throughput, and guest experience delivery.
Team & Culture Leadership - Lead, coach, and develop a diverse, high-energy team including AVMs, Bar & Floor staff, and Hosts.
- Foster a culture that is loud, fun, cheeky, and competitive, matching the Fridays vibe.
- Deliver hands-on training programs with a focus on guest engagement, upselling and tech use.
Guest Experience & Brand Immersion - Be the face of the Fridays experience—welcome guests, hype the floor, and lead by example.
- Champion the “FRIDAYS” mentality across the venue.
- Ensure every guest touchpoint—from food to fun—is immersive, memorable, and social-media ready.
Financial Performance & Strategic Planning - Own the venue P&L: optimise revenue across food, and beverage spend.
- Implement promotions, events, and member engagement strategies that drive dwell time and repeat visits.
- Collaborate with marketing and ops on pricing models, loyalty programs, and social content amplification.
Compliance & Standards - Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and RSA regulations.
- Champion cleanliness, service consistency, and brand standards throughout the venue.
What you’ll Bring: - Proven GM experience in high-volume hospitality or experiential venues.
- Strong people leadership and performance management capability.
- An obsession with guest experience, high energy culture, and building communities.
- A love for competitive socialising (and maybe a little trash talk).
